According to the press secretary, Trump will meet with Thune and Johnson at the White House today

 White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt informed reporters that President Donald Trump is meeting with House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune at the White House today to discuss Republicans’ efforts to pass his comprehensive tax cuts and spending package in time for him to sign it by July Fourth.

"We need the full support of the Republican conference to support this bill — and we expect them to, and we are confident that they will," Leavitt stated during a White House briefing. "The president is very well aware that this bill needs to not only pass out of the Senate, but it needs to go back to the House."

Senate Majority Leader Thune and … Mike Johnson, who will both be at the White House today to meet with the president once more, have been working closely with the president. She went on, "I think they were here this morning."
